Portfolios show your creative or professional talents in a way that is far more extensive and elaborate than a some offers. While the elements you need to include in your portfolio depends largely on your field of expertise, there are a few basics that apply to most types. Here's what you need to know about any portfolio you might need to create.

Create you table of contents after you finish your portfolio but include the list at the front of your other material. You do not need to list page numbers if you do not include them in your portfolio, but if you do decide to number the pages in your portfolio, list those numbers in your table of contents.
